Happy birthday, dear Elly......

Oh!  Elly!  I've had her as a client since day one!  And, it is amazing to see how much she has grown in just a little ol' year.  Elly just knocks my socks off every time.  And, cuddly!  I could just sit and hold her all day long.  Although, I doubt at her new mobile age of ONE, she'd have sitting still for long.  But, at least I got some cuddle time in WHILE we were shooting!  Yes, those are MY legs you see in that first pic!

These three beautiful little dolls just made my whole day.  Their mom, my college buddy and an amazing cancer survivor, has every ounce of these precious little ones' respect and admiration.  She had them just laughing in pure delight for every shot.  I could tell this sweet family not only did life together, but they had FUN together!  Enjoy...

Photography in a stranger's bedroom....

Often, I have seen his bed while taking clients down my "favorite alley" downtown to capture our sweet little ones, to celebrate graduation from high school, or a new engagement.  But, I had never seen the man.  The man I prayed for so many times, as I wondered what his life must be like.  So, I offer this glimpse of the homeless life in the City of Memphis.  Join me in praying for him...

We have been blessed with an abundance of wonderful neighbors.  These little rascals are just about the cutest things you'll see.  This little family was my second customer when I started photography.  And, now, two years later, we still have a BLAST every time I get to photograph them.  Just love them!  Enjoy...

Sweet little Lillian.  Her mommy was one of my former youth way back when I was a youth director for the church I grew up in.  Now, she is a MOM!  It doesn't seem possible.  And, boy what a good job she and her hubby did....helping God make a beautiful baby!  Little Lillian is an absolute angel.  Enjoy...
